A short history of how I came to love capturing pure moments on camera
About
I photograph people, places and the light in between. Here is how I got here.
Where it started
My name is Eitan Schnitzer, the creative eye behind Pura Captura. My passion for visual storytelling began in my late teens, sparked by a growing fascination with photography that was passed down to me by my grandfather.
What started as simple curiosity quickly grew into a hobby taking lots of photos everywhere and when I could. Over the years, that evolved, as did the technology of cameras. Mainly during travels and holidays I took my camera along and snapped at it. And honestly I also had periods when I did find myself having other priorities, like during my studies.
Why I do what I do
Whether I’m working with aerial perspectives, real estate, wildlife, event, or outdoor adventures, my goal remains the same: to create visuals that feel authentic, realistic and original. For me, it’s not just about taking photos or flying a drone. It’s about capturing the moment, the essence of a place, a story, or a vision and transforming it into imagery that leaves the right impression.
Every project begins with a conversation. If you feel a connection to my work, you’re welcome to get in touch and share your idea.
